Shayateen is always a challenge, both to play and to paint, probably why I enjoy her so.

She is a Tinean, or Fire Wolf, my character in the Paragon RP: [link]

No photo references used, save one for the cave background. I'm hoping the illusion of iridescent fur worked this time.

A number of hours in Photoshop CS4, tablet...

may i please use this for a website?? see, i'm developing a game and i would love to add your work as the iconic image for my fire wolf monster (you will of course be credited appropriately for your work and i will link the image back to here)

No, you'd be better off commissioning an artist for work you want done. These paintings take hours to do, and I don't want them used for things they were not intended for. Besides, this was a character of mine.

Beautiful love it but the background could have used a little more detail though but still great job.

This is amazing :) Little bit more detail in the background to go with the gorgeous wolf would certainly improve the piece overall though. The loose large brushstrokes are fine for very far away, like at the back where there is light coming in, but directly behind and beside the wolf could do with a bit more attention, maybe even a few smaller, tighter brushstrokes to give the appearance of detail.

Beautiful colors and detail in the fur!
I also very much like your indication of the catacombs beyond her.
